Fr. Peter JohnROGERSDied peacefully Sunday 30th November 2014, aged 85 years. Ordained Priest 7th June 1953. Beloved son of Vincent and Agnes, and dear brother of the late Marie. Formerly National Chaplain to the Catholic Guide & Scout Guilds. Reception and Mass at St. Joseph's Home Harborne on Tuesday 16th December at 6.45 pm. Requiem Mass at St. Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham on Wednesday 17th December at 11.30 am, followed by burial at Oscott College at 2.15 pm. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, may be made to St. Joseph's Home, 71 Queen's Park Road, Harborne, Birmingham B32 2LB, or Thomas Bragg & Sons Ltd, 562 Stratford Road, Shirley, Solihull B90 4AY, in grateful thanks for all the loving care given to Fr. Peter by the Sisters and Staff during his time there. We shall all miss his unstinting devotion to the teachings of The Catholic Church and his wonderful sense of humour and fun. May he rest in peace.
